Canadian Diamonds

Canadian diamonds are the hot item for jewellers in Canada. The retail goal in marketing this luxury product is to maximize credibility, consistency and profitability.

Canadian diamonds must be considered an individual retail product line. That product line must be supported by a complete range of product inventory and backed up by product knowledge and guarantees.

A consistent and knowledgeable presentation of the product line is necessary to avoid customer confusion. Several brands of Canadian diamonds are available. The retailer can choose one Canadian diamond brand that reflects his personal marketing image. The consistent presentation of one chosen brand allows a salesperson to sell with a specific sales direction. It is the job of a retailer to direct the consumer to a product chosen to be the best.

A unique brand of Canadian diamond facilitates a clear message to be passed from management to staff and finally to the consumer. One chosen brand facilitates a focus for displaying the product. One chosen brand demonstrates confidence in a product (both to staff and consumer) and allows the retailer to better utilize buying power. One chosen brand sets the store apart from the competition and creates an image for the store, allowing for greater profitability.

It is a common occurrence for a client to approach a retailer with an exact request for a particular type of diamond purchase. This behavior is a warning to the retailer that the competition or the Internet has sold the client on a specific grade or marketing concept. This is the time for the experienced salesperson to display their knowledge and confidence in marketing a well-researched product line of Canadian diamond. The job of the salesperson is not to fill an order but to inform and guide a client in making a better purchase. A good salesperson begins to do his job when the customer says ‘NO’. The bricks and mortar retailers need to recognize that knowledge and brand specialization are the necessary tools to turn a ‘NO’ into a successful diamond sale.

It is the duty of a supplier of a branded Canadian diamond to provide a unique and individual product to the retailer. It is the duty of a branded Canadian diamond supplier to provide a consistently recognizable and reliable product. It is the duty of the supplier of a branded Canadian diamond to uphold the high standards of practice necessary to protect the reputation of the Canadian diamond industry. It is incumbent upon a Canadian diamond supplier to be an example of marketing success and support the retailer as a business partner with the knowledge, ideas and confidence that are so important in making a business successful.

Defeating the Drummer Blues

What happens when you get bored of drum practice and lose your drive to move forward? if you do not get a handle on it, you are going to stagnate at your current playing level, or worse — go backward. We all know you do not want this to happen. You have invested entirely too much effort and desire in the art of drumming to allow yourself to get sidetracked and fail. There are several things you can do, including drum play along tracks, videos, and live performances, but let us briefly explore the problem first.

It Is Universal

When you do the same thing every day, sooner or later the energy that you once had will drain out. No matter how passionate you were with your work, project, or goal when you were just beginning, you will suffer from lack of motivation once your body senses that it is doing the same thing day in, day out. It is unavoidable, and it happens to all of us –even the big drum stars.

Cure What Ails You Before It Is Too Late

So what can you do to fix this particularly hairy problem? Don’t be afraid to break the routine once in a while. Quit practicing for a full day. Stop doing your routine for a week. Step back and have a long hard look at what makes you love the drums so much, and what got you interested in teh first place.

Go to a concert and watch the drummer. This can be a very effective way to reignite your passion for the rhythm arts. And while you're taking your break from your routine, don’t lose the faith that you will have the same kind of energy you once had by the time you get back to work. It will happen if you dedicate yourselft to solving your probelm.

Enjoy  Drum Play Alongs and Live Performances

Ditch the stale drum practice routine. Stop boring yourself to death. Get some killer drum play along tracks an just jam for hours. Work up some of the songs and ask to perform them somewhere — church, the YMCA, local bars during slow hours, your school, talent competitions. There are many places you could play if you just ask.

Start Producing Your Own Audio and Videos

Save up your cash for some drum microphones (or use your electronic kit), an interface, and a decent computer DAW, or recording software — some of which is free or has a free trial). There are plenty of new HD video cameras that will do the trick, and all you need is a tripod. Use Movie Maker or comparable software to put your video together. You can do some pretty cool tricks very easily with this type of program. Within a few hours to a couple of days (depending on skill level), you can have a sweet, slick video that looks like a pro did it. Then you can throw up a YouTube channel, and presto — you have purpose. It's amazing how much a hobby like this can goose your sense of pride and passion.

In the End It Is Up to You

No one else can renew your love of playing a musical instrument, or any hobby or love for that matter. What you need is still inside you, and you have simply allowed the mundane to obscure the truth. If you loved the drums once, you will love them again, if you allow yourself. Please do give this some thought, because sticking with a hobby or profession that you care about will be rewarding in ways you never imagined. But you will only realize the extent of the rewards a few years down the road, when you look back and breathe a sigh of relief that you did not quit when you hit a small bump in the road.

Marantz SR7005

Marantz SR7005

The new SR7005 AV Receiver with 7x 125W into 8 ohms keeps cross channel contamination to an absolute minimum for ultra-precise signal processing. The “muscle” power of the system comes from the current feedback circuitry with Marantz HDAMs and an oversized low impedance transformer for rapid current supply.

Not even extreme demands for power will pull the SR7005 off balance. The “brain” of the system is the latest 400Mhz Sharc DSP, which easily handles HD audio decoding including the Audyssey DSX and the MultEQ XT room calibration. The source signal can be either digital or analogue, and it can also be from a wide variety of inputs. First of all, via the six HDMI 1.4a inputs, one of which is hidden behind the front flap for easy access.

For new media there is a iPod-digital-compatible USB input, while the RJ45 Network jack provides connection to vTuner Internet radio and music services such as Napster and last.fm. You can even access your music library stored on computer . Classical analogue signals will come from the built-in FM tuner or via either the analogue input jacks or the Phono equalizer: which is ideal for vinyls. Video signals are also treated with loving care by ABT2015 video processing, a host of video adjustment possibilities and two HDMI 1.4a outputs supporting 3D video. It’s all there, eager to please.
